Sorry Julie I have only just seen the message. OH job is good although the travelling is a bit of a shock to him. (it only 45 minutes but a lot more than he is use to)

My cat had the start of kidney failure (he was only diagnosed last Xmas). He was only on a special diet for it but he was nearly 15. He has always had a big thirst but it had increased so we had him tested. Anyway, he apparently got dehydrated in quarantine and that caused his kidneys to fail and the vets weren't able to reverse it. I have some concerns about how he managed to get so dehydrated and why they didn't get the vet involved sooner. They said he was wobbly on his feet on the saturday but didn't ring me until Sunday to ask if that was normal for him!!

My other cat is fine though. She is 9 1/2 and doesn't seem to have been bothered by the experience at all.

I don't regret bringing the cat that died, I couldn't have left him. I just wish he could have been with us when he died.

 2. I have just spoken to CO and he was waiting for more evidence so that we could have a permanent visa. That is despite saying we only had one opportunity and until 10th August to provide it. We provided some but it was not enough. He is now going to finalise the application but can only consider a temp visa. Hope it is granted and soon
 3. It has been almost 9 weeks now and I have heard nothing about my husband's visa apart from an email saying processing time is currently 3-4 months. It seems there are lots of people who have lodged their applications since ours and have already got their visas. It is really starting to get me down. Are there others who have been waiting so long? 9 July 2009 Application sent 13 July 2009 Email requesting further evidence, med and police check within 28 days or decision would be made without 30 July 2009 Further evidence, meds and police check sent
 4. I am getting a bit worried as I haven't heard anything back about my husband's visa for ages. 9 July 2009 Application sent 13 July 2009 Email requesting further evidence, med and police check within 28 days or decision would be made without 30 July 2009 Further evidence, med and police check sent We haven't heard anything since then. Should we be worried?
