Guest Fredtheman
Does any one know an Irish, English or from the UK Doctor? Been to an Aussie one the other day and I might as well sat outside in the car park in the baking sun and talked to myself. A :animal-pig: had more manners than this:frown:..................................:arghh:
PositivePixie
So if you went to a rude English Doctor in the UK, would you then say all English Doctors are rude and want to see another nationality Doctor? There is a word for the way you are presenting your actions.
amibovered
You've probably just been unlucky, I've been to poor doctors and great doctors both here and in the U.K, keep trying you'll find one that suits you in the end.
ali
Our GPs are African (I think) ... they are the best, polite, thorough, fantastic with the children. I think you've just been unlucky, if the sugery has more than one Dr. why not try to see a different one?
gpo1971
Sounds like a bad experience to me. The GPs here, indeed the whole episode of having to visit the Doctor's, is 10 times easier, more efficient and rewarding than seeing some quack in the UK. It reminds me of going to the Doctor's when I was a kid. The first thing I noticed was that they listen to you over here.

Guest pomgoddress
I have had 2 doctors in WA one was NZ and the other from UK. In Melbourne I went twice to a centre in St Kilda and saw two delightful Australian women doctors. I came here myself with a lot of prejudice about everything in Oz being behind but in fact that is not the case esp in things like fashion and news cos of the internet changing everything.. I do have reservations about the older men in Oz but the young ones are lovely.
