purplelaura
We're flying into Brisbane airport at 0050 on a saturday morning and wanted to have a hire car booked from this end. my problem is however, i cant find anywhere open at that time in the morning with most of them closing at 12. I reckon by the time we get through immigration and stuff it'l b bout 0200. Has anyone used a rental company at that time of morn?
Mummy Mann
We had booked with east coast car rentals before our reccie last year. Avoid these at all costs!!! Long story! we arrived at 2:00am, was stuck at the airport 4 adults and 1 3yr old with no way of getting to the gold coast (1 1/2 hr drive away). We ended up renting a car with budget, a Ford Falcon. It was a lovely car and cost roughly £200 for 10 days. Would highly recommend. I believe these are open 24hrs
Mummy Mann
Just checked my calendar. It was a Sunday morning we arrived in Brisbane.
Guest The Pom Queen
Try rent for less, they usually can organise something to have the car available 24/

BackToAdelaide
Could be worth booking the night in an airport hotel, getting a decent sleep and then grabbing a car the next morning.
JoandJon
I'd agree with BackToAdelaide - a decent night's sleep before having to drive is a god-send after a long-haul flight. Or if you've already got accomodation booked, could you get a cab there and collect a hire-car the next day?
