How do people get over the guilt of leaving parents behind?

I didn't feel guilty at all. That was until my parents came to visit - since when I have been overwhelmed emotionally. Guilt sometimes just springs out at you when you least expect it. BTW, my folks are having a nice time, and we are all enjoying having them here. Its taking them to the airport on Sunday that is giving me panic attacks, stress, and sleepless nights. What makes it worse is the thought that they may feel the same way. I hope that it is just me losing my mind.
