whopperdaisy Posted June 2, 2011 Share Posted June 2, 2011 I just wanted to point out (in case anyone missed it in the link given) that police are asking for community to show their support by donating to police legacy fund and wearing a blue ribbon or by donating to a fund set up for this officer's family. Most Queensland police stations have a donation box for the Police Legacy and donations help support families of officers seriously injured or killed in the line of duty. I hadn't really thought about it until I had to go to a police station with a friend today and she pointed out the donation box and led the way by digging deep.
