Bombs in UK

Recommended Posts

I'm sorry for this post but i am about to lose my head, today in our local city (in the shopping area) a bomb went off, luckly no-one has been hurt, and this is not the first time this has happen, only a few months ago one went off in a hotel where some very wealthy business men wanting to invest in our city were staying.... (Buy the way our city is City of Culture 2013.... what a joke)... Last May 2 bombs were discovered in my gym where me and my daughter were at the time..... I am so angry I could burst, most people here in Northern Ireland want peace.... But just proves how thick these idiots are. Todays bombs was surposed to coinside with the Queens visit. (she left the country yesterday, so there a little late)..... Sorry rant over but this makes me so mad..... :arghh:

Its sad for the ordinary irish peron, was only talking about the REAL IRA the other day tbh, personally in an ideal world..... all of Ireland should belong to the irish, but its much more complicated than that now isnt it,either way the irish have suffered enuf over the years, they can do without it all kicking off again

Totally agree with your sentiment Anything, I remember well working in London when the IRA were at their worse, and whilst didn't stop me working and living in the smoke it left an indelible memory with me.

And I also realize that the bomb was planted too late, but when we (I included at times) call them stupid or thick I think that can be a fatal mistake.

It's a bit like the terrorists from the middle east, way too many if us seem to equate their actions to that of morons, but that is selling them short I'm afraid.

NOT defending them at all, but very often they are an organized and very well capable of doing untold damage to many innocents.

As Pablo says, the Irish problem is so deeply entrenched and will be for years to come that I fear a resolution may never take place, and whilst this happens many will suffer the consequences.

Cheers Tony.

I love the fact how people discriminate against and loath one another based on the fact they may Protestant or Catholic. Surely if you're gonna fly under the banner of the christian faith, then maybe they can start acting in a christian way and work towards reconciliation.

I have to disagree with Tony a little here when he says they may be clever and more organised than we perceive (I do understand where you're coming from). Anyone who deliberately sets out to mame and kill innocent people are just plain dumb and stupid in my opinion.

but this really is not in the name of the irish people, the majority dont want this..... i agree that the different sides will never agree but have come to live, work, socialise together (even become really good friends) and that is what the people of northern ireland want, it really is a small minority.... The murder of Constable ronan kerr last month caused outcry here.... In this city last week hoods throw grenades at police officers who were talking to a group of children (one on the kids picked it up luckly it didn't go off) is that really necessary..

I am soo angry.

Originally from manchester (and being there when that city bomb went off) we only moved backed to NI because this was not happening anymore..... These animals are not wanted here and i cant wait to get out...(hurry up visa...LOL)

But the funny thing is they hate the Brits but dont mind taking the queens money when they sign on for their dole money every 2 weeks.... Hypocrites...
