Joob joobs Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 Is there any route to getting a subclass 856 visa if your occupation is not listed on the ENSOL list?
Guest siamsusie Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 Hi, just giving this a wee bump for you. Good luck. Susie x
Pumpkin Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 Is there any route to getting a subclass 856 visa if your occupation is not listed on the ENSOL list? Needs to be on the ENSOL. It is quite an extensive list I think.
Ozmaniac Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 You can't apply for an 856 visa unless your occupation is on the ENSOL. AFAIK, your only hope of a permanent visa without a listed occupation is an RSMS visa as there is no list of eligible occupations for that visa. If the employer is in a regional area and provided you have at least diploma level qualifications, that could be worth looking into. http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/skilled-workers/rsms/ RSMS visa
