The weather is normally great & if you are on a bike, you can ride straight in and park next to the circuit. I'm there from Saturday if anybody wants to catch up for a cold one. Both the MotoGP or SBK's are a must. Great racing & great weekend as well. Bikes from all over Australia ride to the island for the races. There are plenty from QLD & WA that make the pilgrimage. You will have to post some pics. Thanks goodness the GP is being moved next year to March. Its an amazing weekend, but when it blows on the Island, it really does get miserable. Even the Gp isnt bad. I always go on the bike, but most of my mates go by car every year, and it might take 20-30 minutes longer to get home to the Dandenong ranges.
