chris2011
Dear All, First post so please be kind! May sound like an obvious question but I have been warned that applying for a visa is a very exacting 'science'. I want to apply for a 176 visa, however, rather than being a Advertising Manager (which appears on a smp list) I am a Advertising Director. Am I over qualified? Should I apply as an Advertising Manager or Advertising Director? Obviously I meet all the stipulated criteria but at a more senior level. Thanks in advance. Guest china
I am pretty sure it doesn't matter if you are over qualified, as long as you apply for a skills assessment for the exact job title on the SMP - your skills assessment must match a job on the SMP. I hope this answers your question
chris2011
A belated thanks! Only just spotted your reply. Thankfully I passed the assessment. So first hurdle cleared, although I'm sure there will be many more to come! Congrats on getting your Visa... good luck with the move.
