eBay and Freecycle in Sydney for furnishings

I was about to ask if these were popular in Oz, but once I ran a search on Google rather than Taptalk (iPhone forum app), I found a lot of results for people who have used these successfully.

 

A bit of googling also revealed that eBay is the most popular online retailer in Oz, and Freecycle has 17,000 posts in East Sydney alone.

 

So - in summary - I guess we can rely on these two for finishing our new unit when we move in!

Never heard of freecycle. but ebay is huge.

 

A few people I know buy wine from Grays Online.

But probably ebay is enough for most people.

gumtree is another popular one ....i have bought a lot of items [second hand ] through this
