Guest the barritts Posted November 5, 2010 Share Posted November 5, 2010 All I needed was a bank account (which you can set up from the UK or as soon as you get here) and a utility bill or mortgage/ rental agreement, so fairly easy. The only thing is the majority of contracts are for 24 months (unless you provide your own phone) so your visa must be valid for at least 2 years. The contracts are pretty competative between the big 3 (Telstra, Optus and Vodaphone) so check out their deals first. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

JOHN We found it pretty straightforward but this was after about 6 weeks and we had lots of activity on our bank account which they needed to see to be accepted.
