My plan is to apply for state sponsorship once SMP gets published as we know it's still on the process of approval with DIMIA. However, my concern is: "Do i have to have 485 visa in hand before i lodge application for PR in statesponsorship category?" As just few weeks back (before 1st -JULY), i have lodged my 485 application. It sill long way to go thats what many says and i just don't like to be cought up with any new PR changes in future, if i wait far too long for 485 visa. OR having statesponsorship in hand i can lodge onshore PR application while 485 visa still processing? Two applications together. What you guys think?
