kevin'n'dawn
Will a video or dvd players work using an australian tv. We're having to cut things down for shipping and the tv will take up a lot of room but the dvd and videos are small or would it be best just to leave the lot:unsure:
Lynandsean
DVD's in oz run on a different format l think so any DVD's you buy in Oz will need a player that can run them but an aussie DVD player may not play your existing DVD's so suggest you take it so you have something to play your old ones on. Did that make any sense!? think video players are same but would still take to play existing ones on. Lyn x

Don't worry... i have found this site which has region hacks for virtually all the DVD players on the market.... and the best bit is that you can get your code for FREE.... and it works!! heres the site: http://www.dvd.reviewer.co.uk/info/multiregion/ With your code inplace you can play not only the UK region 2 dvd's but every region out there!!!...... Just click on the bar in the middle of the page and find your player to make it multi region... Hope that helps min x:wubclub: __________________ Basically in the uk we are a pal system.... other area use different systems..... the dvd codes do work and do not harm your dvd players... it will save you buying a new one...you will be able to purchase dvd from anywhere in the world and they will now play on your dvd player. min x:wubclub:
minlady
OH forgot to mention..... UK bought DVD players and Video recorders will work when attatched to a Australian tv as long as they use a SCART. on the old video recorders you may find they only use modulated output...if this is the case they will not work.... they need to use SCART min x:wubclub:
calNgary
We bought a cheap aussie dvd player and it plays our uk dvd's fine,id be tempted to sell them there and buy here as you can get electrical stuff at pretty reasonable prices, Cal x
