Not to mention the emotional loss :-( Good luck to you too, sorry it turned out this way but when one door closes another one opens...I believe that to be true xx I too believe that and I pray everything will be fine. Just dont take the stress, believe me it is not worth it for your health. There will be some way and the only thing we need is to figure it out... We have had a fraught couple of hours but we have managed to lodge online by 10.05 pm Sydney time and obtain our TRN number.:biggrin: I think i now need to go and have a lie down. adw44 Posted May 7, 2010 Share Posted May 7, 2010 I could do with advice,I really need the new SOL list published as currently serving police officer in england,wish to move to Victoria,bit police not on old sol list only new one i believe.Is there any other way I could get a permanent residency visa so I can apply to victoria police.Its the chicken and the egg scenario? Would a migration agency make any difference,or should I just wait for new sol list.(i need my application in sharpish as wil be 45 towards end of year). I think your agent will probably be quicker than me. I filled in the wrong bit on Pete's status. Put him as Never Married (which he isn't) rather than de-facto and then had to go back through and work out why there was no section to put my details!!! Then I realised and than had to enter me. We also said YES to skills matching DB for both of us and we had loads of certificate / qualifications / job resp info to type in which took a while too. And, had to feed the baby! Have not yet submitted the paperwork, just all form filling and visa app fee. We are going to follow up with the paperwork on Monday via our agent. SA have just pulled the plug on granting SS and she thinks all other states may follow suit. We dont have any family sponsors and only 100 points so it would leave us floating around if the SS doesnt come through. Hopefully we made the right decision for us!
