Fraid so, my best mate from the Navy emigrated 2 and a bit years ago,Me and family want to come over but can't see any wat,no PR VISA,gutted!!! Need sponsor/police to recruit. Have fingers and toes crossed,getting very disappointed.

I am a serving British police sergeant,just left Response and gone into Custody. Prior to this I was a Quality manager,and prior to that a Weapons engineering mechanic in the Royal Navy. I really want to Live in Australia with my wife and son,but it seems almost impossible as no Police recruitment ongoing abroad.We have no PR VISA, any ideas ????????????

Hi haven't been on for a while,have you heard any news about recruitment ( uk) , I am british bobby and desperately wish to emigrate if I can transfer. The trouble is though we neen the PR visa and police sponsorship,and none of oz forces appear to be recruiting in uk? Any help appreciated.

Hi Folks, just got back home from london Expo,it appears age limit increasing to 49 from jul 11 and more emphasis on actual skills and quals rather than youthfull good looks! I still want to join vic police once I have shed my winter coat( if you know what I mean), but will be on bended knees praying for no further hoops......Still hanging on in there.........:biggrin:
