Guest Derrickm
I have an employer who will sponsor for a job to move to Adelaide. I am a Business Consultant and aged 44 (45 in sept). My wife is a hairdresser (aged 44 this month) and has a job to go to as well. We have accommodation as well in Adelaide to go to. It all sounds easy but can someone please advise how i go about applying for the visa etc and what info i need to give? Thanks in advance Derrick
Guest koeieboei
Will this be a 457 visa? If it is, it's a 3-step proces, first 2 are for employer, 3rd one for you. As soon as 1st step is completed you can start lodging your part with a ref number. Your employer might have step 1 and 2 already done....step 1 is the biggest hassle for the company due to new strict rules. You can read more on the government website for immigration. Whole proces takes between 2-12 weeks..... 1. employer applies for business sponsorship nomination 2. employer applies for job nomination 3. you apply for nomination together with any dependents. Any questions let me know....we just completed the whole proces and leaving next week for Adelaide.
