Guest valleylass Posted February 10, 2010 Share Posted February 10, 2010 Hello PIOers Just a brief update on my first few days in the UK 1) It is grey, misty and cold 2) It has snowed on and off for the last three days 3) I had an unsuccessful interview yesterday 4) I am staying in a friends attic room AND I FEEL FANTASTIC!!! Lots of businesses cutting back. Fingers crossed next at intreview the job will be yours. Are you returning after temporary visit? Enjoy Feb 14th when you are all reunited. I'm just getting ready to move to oz and i have to say i find these sort of posts just as heartwarming as "our first 6 months in Australia" type posts. We emigrated with PR but were unable to find enough work to continue to live there with the house prices are still rising. Check out our earlier contribution to this thread for more details.
