Happy Lass
You'll have to check the wording of your issued visa to be sure of just how long you've got once you land in Australia. It's probably just as you think it is but there's no harm in taking a minute to be sure I did what you were thinking of doing and changed my 6 month tourist visa to a 12 month (hence the reason I am familiar with the blardy condition 8503) so I had a look to see if I could find the original visa grant and check the wording for you but just can't find it in my inbox. Guest Beachband
Just wondering so did you get the 8503 on your tourist visa when you changed it from 6 to 12 months?
Happy Lass
Yes. My 6 month visa had no strings attached and was no different to the bog-standard 3 month visa I had had previously. I applied via the Australian Government's Immigration Web site.
