Claire would David not be better commuting on the river ferry as it has a stop at the uni ? Might be something to think about especially as parking in the city is sooo expensive. Whenever we go i now park at Bulimba (or somewhere around there) and catch the ferry in.

I think the train is a fair distance from campus. Ferry is a lot better but a lot of suburbs serviced by the ferry are expensive. Buses would drop you at the door. You could live in beautiful Paddington, Bardon, Red Hill, Auchenflower, Toowong, Taringa, Indoorpilly and walk/ride to work.
