Danny842003 Posted September 30, 2023 Posted September 30, 2023 I have a fairly large amount of Lego at my parents I would like to ship over for my son what’s going to be the most cost efficient way to do this. I know it’s a bit open ended but I don’t actually know how much there is until I get there in a few weeks. My guess would be 10kg. Quote
rammygirl Posted September 30, 2023 Posted September 30, 2023 Depends on how fast you want it. Air freight is fast and often cheaper than excess luggage. Otherwise Seven Seas can ship boxes, this takes a couple of months or so but can be cheaper. No way round it You will have to get some quotes, once you know the size and weight of the box. It may even be cheaper to use fedex or similar. Quote

If you're heading over to the UK then why not bring it back as checked-in luggage? Just take less stuff with you when you head over there, so you don't go over your weight limit on your return to Australia. 2 Quote
JZT Posted October 5, 2023 Posted October 5, 2023 I was also going to suggest the same as InnerVoice. When we moved over this year to Australia it was actually cheaper for us to pay for extra bags as checked luggage than for us to use sendmybag etc. Obviously depends who you fly with and what they charge but it could be worth considering. 1 Quote
