Loulabell Posted April 19, 2021 Share Posted April 19, 2021 Hi all, couple of questions if anyone has recently had any experience with the 804; 1) what is the current wait time for the medical to be requested after lodgement on the 804 Aged parent visa? 2) has anyone had experience with a health waiver being granted for someone applying for the the 804 visa? Many thanks There’s an initial medical about 2-3 years after application and a final one many many years later! I’m not sure about a health waiver being given for 804 due to the length of time they would be on a bridging visa as the govt say they are costing the taxpayers too much money in Medical care. There is a temporary medical visa allowing a temporary stay for medical treatment but it’s not permanent and doesn’t lead to PR 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
