webmister
My 40th birthday is on May 1 and I will lose age based points after that. Do I have to submit my application before May 1 for state nomination or does it have to be for visa application with immigration department to keep my points? Thanks in advance. paulhand
Age points are calculated at the date that you are invited to apply for a visa by the Department of Home Affairs.

It's your age when you get the invitation that counts. Unless you're in a priority occupation, it's very unlikely you'll get an invitation in 2021 at all. Ausvisitor
You aren't in control of your age points, it is the age you are at when you get invited out of the queue to make a formal visa application.
