There are some lists where if you are both on the same list and they can get a skills assessment passed then you do get extra points (5 points I believe from memory); but they need to do a full skills assessment the same as you will need to do as the primary applicant. For the secondary applicant the experience makes no difference to the points awarded (except in that if they have to have a certain number to pass the skills assessment they will need at least that many years). In your case if you have no experience and he has 5 years it may be worth swapping the primary/secondary applicant around unless you are massively younger or much better educated Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
