Brianm93
Hi everyone. I recently sat the Pearson’s English test, hoping to get at least proficient English (10 points) towards my visa application. I scored: listening - 78, reading - 65, speaking - 44, writing - 83 and gained an overall score of 65. Does anyone know if this means I’ve scored enough for proficient English? DukeNinja
See below image. Key terms being "for each" Sorry mate. There are plenty of paid and free resources to help prepare. Out of interest, what did you do to prepare for your test?

I used the e2 language website and YouTube tutorials. Looks like I’ll need to study the speaking and reading parts more.

DukeNinja
Try and do plenty of practice tests. There are set criteria that you need to meet during the tests. Might be worth familiarising yourself with them.

Sorry to see that @Brianm93 At least you’re know what you are letting yourself in for the next time around and should pass fine.

I recommend going to Sonny English youtube channel. Helped me achieved my desired score. He breaks it down well. Good Luck.
jdiane
E2 Language also helped me a lot with PTE. Try doing a mock exam too.
Green
Yes, E2 was really helpful and just getting use to the format of the test helped to know what was coming on the day.
