Bringing visa A cancelled

Hi. Me and my husband were in bringing visa A. Due to family matters we had to leave Australia urgently. We did apply bringing visa B but it had not arrived till we left Australia. Now we are waiting for visa 407 since 4 months. We are paying rent and all expenses in Australia. We are in big trouble. Estimated processing time of visa has already passed. We want to go back to Australia as soon as possible. What can be done now??

What visa did you apply for originally (that you had the bridging visa for?).

I'd suggest you speak with a registered migration agent to see what they may suggest.  I'm not sure if you can arrive on a visitor visa and apply to have the BVA reinstated or not.  You may simply need to wait until the 407 visa is processed unfortunately.  I thought the BVB could be granted while you're overseas (just a huge risk if it isn't approved obviously).

Unfortunately you do need to be onshore for a BVB grant.
