Pauline Mohammed
Hi all would appreciate any help on offer. I am unsure if you can claim points for both having a degree and also having a qualification recognised by the authority( anmac) if I can claim points for both it means I have enough points without having to do another ielts test. Thanks
wrussell
You can claim one or the other. If you hold a recognised degree in any discipline, claim the points for it.
Pauline Mohammed
Thank you Russell another question I did the ielts again and have 60 points. Submitted my EOI on the 24th November does anyone know my chances of getting a invite and rough timeframe. My point are from English-20 education 25 and age 15. I am a nurse. Also on the expression they ask how many people will be on your visa mine was 5 my hubby and four kids does this rank me more unfavourable than someone with less. Thankyou
PsychNurse
Just noticed your points breakdown: Education = 25 points? For education, the points only go up to 20 - for a PhD doctorate degree. Please double check this to avoid over-claiming and your visa being refused.

Pauline Mohammed
Yeah I got 1 at 8 2 at 8.5 and 1 at 9 I believe that if you get a minimum of 8 across all 4 sections that gives you the 20 points, that's what the government website said anyway.
