Bluegrass
Thanks @MASNON and @Richo @canadaf My company is mid-size but international - 100 in total and 60ish for my location. Not sure size if the company matters as much as their records and financial organisation. My husband's company sponsors and they are only 3 people. Izzielizzie
Hi Bluegrass, wonderful news! Happy for you and relieved to see a DE Marketing Specialist application going through. Let us know when you get the final visa grant! There are times when it feels like the dream is slipping from our grasps. We're also onshore DE, timeline early April. April DE seems to have been forgotten, yet later months are getting processed. So odd. Praying we hear good news soon. We are on holidays but I cannot fully relax...waiting, waiting. AHHHHHHHH!!!! jess6
Hi guys, My MA just got back to me regarding the question Direct Entry vs. Transition. She confirmed that all applications are in a queue and Transition are not prioritised versus DE or vice versa. She repeated that it takes in average 6 to 9 months to process applications at the moment. We just had Christmas in between so 10 months is also possible. syd2016
Hi Jess6 - I had a similar conversation with my MA. He stated the same that they have not seen any difference in processing time of DE & Transition applications. Hi guys,My MA just got back to me regarding the question Direct Entry vs. Transition. Thanks @syd2016 I personally trust the Australian government - they usually stick to the rules and communicate when they change them. Timelines are longer because of increased number of applications and lack of staff.

As much as the forum is useful, it can also create anxiety - so try to take everything with a grain of salt :-) That being said, I completely get how you feel ;-)

Bluegrass
Thank you so much @jess6 and @Lzzielizzie - my fellow DE Marketing peeps Wishing you both hear word soon!! This forum has been really helpful putting even the tiniest bit of transparency into this long, awful, anxious, waiting game. I definitely feel the camaraderie and appreciate all the well wishes and input from everyone. Waiting never gets easier, there are moments of hopelessness, but the time will come. It WILL happen.
