  1. BVA has full working rights.
  2. I got the scenario now. Your new employer never transferred your 457 from your previous employer to their name, instead they applied for 186 DE visa and hired you on Bridge A. Good luck!!
  3. @Sue2017 You have a peculiar situation. If one no longer works for the company which nominated him for DE 186 visa, then his 457 is cancelled and also the PR nomination will also be withdrawn. What does your MA say about it? Is your DE application still active? Your DE 186 application is bounded by the employer who nominates you. Can you share your status and what exactly your MA has advised?
  4. I saw the spreadsheet with your Nomination approval! Have a speedy visa approval. Good Luck :-)
  5. I never heard such an event in this forum. What does your MA say about it? I can see that your 186 is just around the corner! Good luck Sue2017.
  6. @LYWY - Welcome and Good Luck. The spreadsheet link is given below (https://goo.gl/bFWMIY). Processing time is dependent on your luck to be honest, but probability of getting approval within 6 months is high for "SOL+LR+Transition" applicants (a candidate whose skill is on SOL, belongs to Low Risk Country and applied on Transition stream)
  7. Thanks Sue2017, I take it in advance as my approval is still pending :-). I am onshore DE applicant. Cheers!!
  8. @scorpion69 Congrats buddy! What is your Occupation and whether it is Direct Entry or Transition?
  9. @Derek - Good luck mate! Regarding your spouse's English score, may I please ask what did you submit at the time of your application lodgement to prove your spouse's English Language proficiency? I am also a DE applicant and my agent asked me to share a letter from her B-school stating that the 2-year course was taught in English. Just wondering if such a letter was not sufficient.
  10. Hi Lzzie, One has to be real lucky not to fall through the crack to miss the 1st wave of approvals of a particular month. My take is "LR + Transition + SOL Skill" applicants are more likely to fall within the 6 months approval timeline. It looks like a bus coming to pick up waiting passengers. No one knows number of seats in each sortie, time of pick up, next schedule of bus, or order of the queue which appears to get dis-oriented after each sortie and then the poor left out passengers look at each other's face trying to figure some logic behind why they are left out and someone got the ride! Waiting patiently is a virtue!! I pray that mine and everyone's PR is approved asap. Cheers...
  11. A certified copy of the Marriage Certificate should suffice.

  13. @hb31: Congrats and good luck. What additional docs were asked for Visa? Also, what's your profession?
  14. JohnnyP: You are correct. It doesn't make a difference at all. I have seen many of friends who applied themselves and are successful in their PR approval. Same goes with skill assessment as well, one can easily do himself. One common tip from them was leveraging the Statutory Declaration in case of any doubt about a document & its applicability. For e.g. : In addition to providing Name Change proofs like old and current passport, do provide a statutory declaration as well about it. Reg 186/187 visa, some times companies insists about using their preferred MA as it involves handling sensitive company information for nomination purpose. In this case one has no choice but to use MA.
