Hi Manson, the number of the Immi is usually on the letter you received when you apply for your PR, Acknowledge Letter with your application ID. I called them yesterday and I got told they are checking processes from the beginning of April, and when I said that I knew some people from June that got approved they said that the applications are usually in a Queue for allocation but there was some random cases allocated before. PatientJay Posted December 15, 2016 Share Posted December 15, 2016 Ravi, I did not check my Immi account at all throughout the visa lodgement nor did i call Immi to check the status of my visa. I just waited for my migration agent to get back to me when they got any correspondence from Immi. They have handled my visas since 2010, so we had regular communication, and they were determined to get my visa sorted asap My MA got an email Thursday last week saying that my case file has been allocated to a team, which was the first email since July when the Company nomination was approved and we lodged for the 186, but we didn't expect it to open till January. But i am the managing director of my business, and i was the first employee, plus, as my company was barely a year old when i lodged my 457 visa, i was granted a provisional one-year 457, and i had to re-apply for the 457 after one year, so as per the migration agent, my 186 would have been easy to complete after nomination was approved, as i had a clean and recent lodgement history with Immi. But still, i feel really lucky getting mine before christmas! However, i think Congratulations mate...
