Cerberus1 Posted March 30, 2017 Share Posted March 30, 2017 Sincere apologies, but owing to the fact the new forum is a learning curve for everyone (mods & admin included), mistakes are bound to be made. In this case, the 187 timeline thread with nearly 17,000 posts was accidentally deleted. Given the importance and size of the thread, I have been forced to roll the database back to the last full backup, losing a days worth of posts. Once again, I apologize for this, I was hopeful of being able to go back to an incremental backup taken around 4 hours ago but this did not prove possible and I will have to log a call with the support company about that. I wish there was another way around it but there wasn't. The next release of the forum software will apparently have the facility to retrieve deleted content, in the interim, I have disabled the default setting so content can't be deleted.
