Bobj
Very interesting; thanks for that. However, 40 light years away... Cheers, Bobj.
VERYSTORMY
Yep, but that is very close by star system terms. What is very important is what it is teaching us about planet formation and likelihood of planets forming. One of the incredible things already from it is that it is now thinking that planets exist around every star. Which changes the prospects for life from "there should be some" to "it is teeming"

Bobj
ABC News made a slight blunder in that they stated that the star system was in a 'near-by' galaxy...The nearest to The Milky Way galaxy is the Large Magellanic Cloud, at 160,000 light years! This star system is in our own galaxy, somewhere in the Aquarius Constellation. Cheers, Bobj.
