Big Redd
With the moving back plan in place, we were wondering if those that have done this could share what they did, we bought new cars on arrival, cash, what's the best way to sell them? Cheers Guys! :cute:
Suzukiscottie
It all depends how desperate you are to sell, price, condition, and the timelines involved. Try sticking a sign in a side window. Try the online carsales sites. Try ebay. (know what fees you will be stung for) Try Gumtree (if you don't mind lots of scam emails) Try the dealer you bought from. The dealer always wins though. Try a car broker; mentioned on radio this morning as a method increasing numbers of people are using. Sign it over to them, they guarantee to sell it within a period of time at the price you expect, or they guarantee to buy it themselves. Will depend on the deal specifics, and if it suits you. calNgary
Just remember you can be fined if you have ad's/ for sale signs in the car windows etc and do not have a safety cert displayed (which you need to sell a second hand registered car anyway), this should help [h=3]Getting ready to sell your vehicle[/h]When getting ready to sell a registered vehicle privately make sure you: get a current safety certificate or certificate of inspection (from anapproved inspection station) display the safety certificate or certificate of inspection on your vehicle—it must be attached to your vehicle before you put it up for sale if your vehicle has gas fuel systems or other gas systems, you will need toget a gas certificate from an authorised gas installer—the issue date for your gas certificate must not be more than 3 months old when the registration is transferred. If the registration is paid by direct debit, make sure you remove the registration from your direct debit so a payment is not deducted after you have sold your vehicle. Remember to remove any toll tags and update your details with the toll payment provider from the vehicle you are selling .

ArrowsEng
You could put some details up in the For Sale section of PIO, location, cars etc and maybe someone coming over might be interested or someone here might be looking for a near new car?
