CaptainC
All depends on which skills assessment you're going for as they are all different.
marie
We have just applied for skills to be done with Victoria university. It has just taken them 4 weeks to review documents and it takes maximum of 13weeks from now(decision ready) I wish it was quicker

CaptainC
Ive just noticed that your question was answered on another thread. They provided a link to the relevant page on the ACS website for you, and you thanked that member for the information. Your question still yields the same answer as last time. ACS take 12 weeks for skills assessment for decision ready applicants. Based on the above....no, you won't be able to apply for the November invitation round. If you submit the documents to ACS today and all is well with your application then you can expect your assessment back in late December. You probably could make the January round, providing you have everything back from then and your EOI is ready to go. All that being said, there have been instances of applicants getting their skills assessments back earlier, but it would not be fair to give you false hope that yours would be early, all applications are different and your proposal (in another thread) to submit a statutory declaration instead of employment letters/references would almost certainly slow your application down. Possibly even exceeding 12 weeks, and even then there's no guarantee that it will come back positive. Moving onto the invitation round. With 60 points and your occupation being pro rata, you should expect the invitation to take around 3-4 months after EOI submission. Could be more, could be less, it's impossible to say. ozprseeker
Yes Captain C. Initially i thought i would submit the afidavits. But after going through many other threads i realized that it is in best of my interest to submit reference letters on Company letter head. Thanks for your detailed explanation. Joseph23
I have the same question in mind. I am an electrical engineer and have studied in an Australian university for 4 years. So my degree should be recognized. How long is the skill assessment for engineers australia?
