VERYSTORMY Posted August 18, 2015 Share Posted August 18, 2015 Yes, you can do the medicals early, but be aware they are only valid for 12 months. If there is something that causes a hold up, you could have to re-do. Also, your first entry date to Oz is 12 months from the police or medical, which ever is earliest. mel25 Posted August 19, 2015 Share Posted August 19, 2015 We did our medicals 4th august, week before this we did the police checks, have uploaded them and now waiting. we paid for our visa 29th may.. so really hoping we hear soon as going mad .. haha! This means that you have already fixed your validation date, unless you apply for another one further down the line? Good luck with it all. Kirstyj Posted August 19, 2015 Author Share Posted August 19, 2015 It gets very confusing, we are going for the 189 visa, expression of interest in place and the migration company told us to apply for our police checks so as not to hold up the process plus I lived in Spain for 7 years previously so have to have a Spanish one too, and we don't know how long that will take, we have been told that once we have paid our visa and had mecicals it should only take two months to get our visa ???????
