Congratulations GeoSurfer!

If I may ask, which occupation did you applied your visa in and if you have any travel history outside your country? Just trying to understand if these things makes any sense. I've visited five countries in past couple of years so wondering if that makes any difference in process.

Any input will be appreciated.

Panic time more like. I waited for CO to request medical and PCC (no rush so didn't front load), they also asked for birth certificate. Could've uploaded all up front but still went through quick enough. My medical had extra checks but these were very quick, probably because I pestered the clinic and my GP so they rushed the documents through.

Congratulations Geosurfer, glad to see the phonecalls are still generating grants! I handed my notice in yesterday too, great feeling hey!

Scary feeling! I enjoy my work so very mixed feelings at the moment.

Congratulations GeoSurfer!

Other Spatial Scientist, I don't think profession matters that much. I travel a lot but I haven't lived abroad and I never had to do form 80 so there were no checks on my travel. As above, my medical wasn't straightforward as I needed to request specialist reports from GP afterwards, but that didn't affect it much. I was very 'proactive', chasing up documents etc. I'm sure they would have got round to me eventually but as everything was sat there ready to approve, I thought I'd chance my arm at a call.

considering that the CO only required above mentioned/requested documents there is no issue with my points and they have been acknowledged. As I filed my EOI for 60 points. can there still be an issue with my claimed points???point of asking is, my engineering was completed in April 2006 as per my transcript and I am employed since August 2006 but the assessment from Engineering's Australia was done on my Degree that was awarded a year later in March 2007 (as per university protocol)but I have already provided the proof of my employment from august 2006.

Can someone pleaseeeeeee help, I am going through different forums and getting a different feedback

Documents sometimes don't get noticed because they may have been incorrectly labelled when you uploaded them to immiaccount. It often happens that DIBP request documents that have previously been uploaded.

Collate the documents into a PDF file and resubmit them. Ensure that you label them correctly and are under the correct heading and subheading.

Hi,

I am glad to reply to your thread as I obtained visa on 8th July 2015. You provided the requested info on 30th June and it will take some time to assess and finalize your visa. I feel, it will take atleast 1 month. If you do not get any response after this timeframe, you can call to their direct hotline number and can make an enquiry.

The experience you claimed will not depend on the date of your skills assessment from Engineers Australia.

Don't bother about these things, just wait some time.

Everything would be fine.

Mohdrehan82 I thought it was a 189 :/ my partner is sponsoring himself and I'm just the add on so not 100% clued up on the details. Is it not odd though that it's been over 3 months since we've lodged and we've not even got a case officer?

Congratulations Emma! We've spoken to our agent twice in the last fortnight and they've said they're chasing them up but they haven't heard a thing. Seriously worried

Ella,

if you have not received anything regarding the CO allocation you probably will get a direct grant.......... thats my opinion I might be wrong......... best of luck
