Congratulations guys those obtained visa recently. We obtained visa on 8 July 2015 and planning a short visit to Sydney on 22 August and I hope things would goes well. I will make a permanent move by next year. Now, I am going to be away from this forum. Good Luck

Hi, I am still looking a superb to live but I wish to make it as a leisure trip so I would like to spend some time in Sydney. I am glad, if you could provide a detail itinerary for sight seeing places on each day say Day 1, Day 2, Day 3 and Day 4 We are back on the 5th day and hope we won't have enough time so we won't bother. I am flying to Sydney with my wife next month and I will be staying there 4 whole days and we are back on the 5th day. I will stay in Paramatta or in Olympic Park as one of my friend is staying there. Can anyone suggest an itinerary to spend the 4 days in Sydney? How can we spend our time there? Top 10 attractions or places to see in Sydney? I would prefer to book a hotel near the train station. Is it a better option? How about hiring taxis there and the daily food expenses? Hi, I am glad to reply to your thread as I obtained visa on 8th July 2015. You provided the requested info on 30th June and it will take some time to assess and finalize your visa. I feel, it will take atleast 1 month. If you do not get any response after this timeframe, you can call to their direct hotline number and can make an enquiry. The experience you claimed will not depend on the date of your skills assessment from Engineers Australia. Don't bother about these things, just wait some time. Everything would be fine. Pranavan

I provided the additional requested info on 13th May 2015 but no news yet. My application status shown 'Assessment is in Progress' for the past two months. I called to immi office this morning around 11.20am (Australia Standard Time) and a gentleman answered the call. I mentioned my application ID and he took few seconds and asked the date of birth. I told, that is my wife and I am the dependent, he said alright and it will be out today. Suddenly, I log in to my immi account and the status changed 'Finalised' inside I saw granted beside to both of our names. I clicked the grant letter but it couldn't open. The two grant letters emailed to my wife's email address. At last, visa granted today. Best way to track your application is call them now. I feel better give them few weeks since you provided all documents. It is not advisable to call few days later since you lodge your visa. I lodged my visa on 04th March 2015 and CO responded on 22 April 2015. Congratulations to all others who got visa during the last few days. :hug:

Hi Guys, I too lodged visa on 04 March 2015, 4 months over since I lodged my visa and nearly 2.5 months gone since CO assigned. Any of you got visa during these few days? If so, appreciate your help to update.

I got response from Adelaide GSM on 22 April 2015 and provided the requested documents on 13 May 2015 but no news yet.

Guys, my visa lodged in March 04 and this forum is for guys lodged visa in April. I got response from CO on 22 April so I can consider the processing starts from then onward I uploaded the requested additional documents on 13 May 2015. I am not sure my processing considered from then onward. Anyway, I am waiting everyday to hear from Immi Aus Praveen

Dear Friends, I lodged our S189 visa on 04 March 2015 for me and my wife. My wife is the primary applicant and I am the dependent.I uploaded the documents except PCC and MC. CO assigned on 22 April and requested MC and PCC for my wife and MC, PCC, Form 80 for myself. I replied to CO on 13 May 2015 by email and I sent the hardcopies to adeladide office by DHL and it was received on 22 May 15. I am waiting for a reply but no news yet. Please share your experience, if you are in the same boat. Pranavan
