Guest the stanleys
Hi there We are hoping to be going to NSW on a 175 visa. I belive this is a permanent resident visa. However we where wondering , do we have to pay school fees for our children if they go to a public school? Thanks , the Stanleys xx

Guest gothicqueen
I could be wrong, but think I read somewhere that public schools are the opposite over there, if yo kow what I mean, they call our state schools public schools.... But then again I could be wrong!!!!!!
ali
a public school is a state school here and there are private schools (which you pay for of course). Here in WA my children go to state schools, you have to buy equipment, pens, pencils etc., and also there is usually a voluntary contribution towards the school Ali
