Stuju
Sorry Cal, i dont know & i dont wanna find out, I do know the law changes from state to state as a guy who used to work with my hubby got done for drink driving & only lost his licence for 3 months (he was told that if he was in another state it would of been longer & that he would have had to gone back onto p plates) giz
Guest caroline
Hi Cal, In NSW you can apply to keep your licence after you have accumulated the points that would normally mean you're banned. Its some kind of 'good behaviour' bond - you can keep your licence as long as you don't get any more points for the next 12 months, then after this period you get your full quota of points back. I think that if you get more points within this time you are banned for longer than you would have been originally - instead of being banned for 3 months for speeding fines, you would be banned for 12 months on this licence. From what I remember anyway from a colleague at work.... But it may not be the same in QLD.... Caroline
