Generalis
Does anyone know how much childcare is per hour in Brisbane or surrounding areas? My mother in law has frightened me by saying she saw a programme and it was equivalent to £10 per hour. I have 2 children. One will be in full time childcare as he will be 3 and the other will be before/after school care. Hope someone can help me out. Thanks Sam
Guest Chrissy
Hi Sam. I have just got back from Brisbane on a 2 week hols looking around areas to live. Chilcare is very big in brisbane. We are looking to move to North lakes (25 mins from city) and they have 2 childcare centres, one called ABC learning and the other Sesame Lanes. I visited them both and look fab. They cost per child, $52.00 per day which is well cheap comparing to UK. Also there was a creche next to the gym in North lakes which costs $5 per hour, again very cheap. Hope this is what you wanted to hear.
