sozver
Hi All I got 457 visa for almost 2 years. How should I apply permanent residency? I got 2 years master degree from Australian university (completed in february 2011) My degree is recognised as ICT business analyst in 2011. My current 457 visa will expire in 2016 july. I'm currently working in IT support role which I started one month after my graduation. Thanks for all the help in advance! Selo
MaggieMay24
Has the 2 years on your 457 been with the same employer? If so, and if they're willing to sponsor you, look into the 186 visa under the Temporary Resident Transition stream.
Tickled Pink
Even if it's been less than two years th 186 has the direct entry stream. If you have a willing employer sponsor this could be a possibility.

Selo There is no single “best way” as it will depend on the specific situation of the applicant and what is important to them. You may be eligible for a 186, 187, 189 or 190, with each having their own requirements, benefits and costs.
