If a foreigner buys a farmland (understand foreigner can invest in Australia farmland), can this foreigner then work on his own farm and sell produce from this farmland? You would have to prove that you have run a company before with a certain turn over per year for a number of years. It is one of the more complicated visas, so your best bet would be to go over it with a migration agent (unless you haven't run a company before in which case I don't think this visa is an option for you). No, simply buying a farm in Australia does not give you any visa rights. You would need to obtain an appropriate visa to gain work entitlements. This could be anything from a business visa associated with the farm purchase, a skilled visa, temporary work visa, etc. It all depends on your specific circumstances.
