CV query

Do you list all duties for jobs held or only the most recent? How many pages does it normally go over? Im up to 10 pages but still 3 jobs to add! Never had to write a CV before having a mare!:arghh:

maximum 5 pages don't go beyond that

Maximum two pages - with an opening statement of what your strong points are, what you are trying to achieve in your career etc. List all duties/achievements in current job - brief bullet point of duties/achievements in previous ones Sorry but really who would be bothered to read five pages??

Maximum 5 pages for a CV ( in my profession 2 pages would be too little and 10 pages too long). However, if you are also addressing selection criteria then it obviously runs to more pages.

I've been told by countless employers that to have more than two pages is waffling - and not likely to be read

Smaller font maybe? theres a standard format I have to adhere to for nurse registration which is maybe why its so long but maybe when I send it to prospective employers i'll cut it way back???/

Curious what industry you are in Sammy that would require a 5 page CV? In my experience you address selection criteria as a separate document?

2-3 pages for mine however have only 2 previous jobs as very loyal employee and have always been told it is a very strong CV or Resume
