orla burke Posted December 28, 2012 Share Posted December 28, 2012 Can anyone please recommend a health insurance company that would be willing to give insurance to my husband who suffers with high blood pressure,but takes medication and it is very controlled . Today we have been informed by IMAN that they are unwilling to insure my husband as he is classed as too "high risk" We are devastated as this is the last piece of information required for granting our 457 visa. Surely there is a company who will insure him,we understand that the premium would be expensive. What are our options ? Petals Posted December 28, 2012 Share Posted December 28, 2012 I am surprised at this as lots of people have blood pressure and take medication. Usually they just do not allow any claims within the first 12 months for a preexisting condition. Hope someone can give you more information.
