PW1
Hello, I was just wondering if this was very popular in Victoria/Melbourne? its something I quite fancy getting into upon arrival. Cheers, P
Celt Down Under
I often see kite surfers on Port Phillip Bay all year round. I am not sure if there are any clubs dedicated to it
TeeTMI
Yep I have regularly seen it in the bay too (pretty big group of people regularly just beyond the swimming baths in the Bayside area).

PW1
Thanks, its something Ive always really fancied, yeah, I could do it in the UK, but I think we all know why I wouldnt. I like the idea you can fit it all the kit in your car as well, without the hassle of a roof rack that you get with windsurfing. Windsurfing just seems too cumbersome as well. P. salpro
My husband's learning and we live in Bayside where alot of the kiteboarders go, ie, Hampton, St Kilda and further down the peninsula in Rye. Quite frustrating as it's so weather dependent (when you're learning) but worth it!
