Westward Ho
So ,off the boat, unpacked settled in- 12 months down the track, kids in school, house is quiet...................what to do? Being a part of your community can be any of the following;afterall you move into a new area /town/city etc you need to assimilate. Rotary Volunteer Lions Club Volunteer St vinnies Volunteer. There are multitudes of organizations! SES Volunteer CFA Volunteer Parent /teacher helper @ local primary school. Point im making here is that to be part of a community ,you become part of a community. You meet great people, its an Aussie thing ,you Volunteer ,you dont get paid, you do it coz you belong there. Its your town ,you look out for it.
