tomgolland
Hi there, Does anyone know whether my wife will need to have a return flight on entry to the U.K on a spousal setlement visa? I'm thinking and hoping that she doesn't, just wanted to know if anyone could tell me from experience? Cheers, Tom
yorkiegirl
I can't imagine that she would, we haven't moved over yet but we certainly aren't buying a return ticket! I think the whole point of the visa is that she is intending to settle in the UK and so therefore would not need a return flight. The visa would be valid for 2 years, can you even buy a flight that far ahead?
Quoll
Shouldnt think so - my husband entered the last time on a tourist visa without a return ticket so with ILE then she should be fine on a one way.
wakeboard1980
Wouldn't think so, the visa is valid for 27 months so unless you enter with less than 12 months remaining you will not be able to book the return leg for when the visa expires
