rasserie
Hi. I need advice on how to proceed with moving to Australia. Now that I got rejected by Victoria, and northern territory requires proof of funds, 176 is out of reach. What are the other visa options available in my case? Stressed out. I am assuming you are short of 5 points. Can you re-sit the IELTS? Do you have any relatives in OZ? Can go on a WHV and find a job over there. Guest guest36187
Have you spoken to an agent to try and get you through?
rasserie
yes short of 5 points. my weakness is in writing and speaking. and i do realise that these 2 areas require long term commitment and practice which unfortunately, i lack. i will try and discuss with my agent coming Monday and if all else fails, i will enrol myself in an IELTS improvement course. by doing this, i am ready to face the fact that i may never get to submit a 176 before skillselect starts. tough luck. no relatives in OZ. my country isnt eligible for WHV. :em4600:

Sephie
So, wrussell, if the occupation is enlisted on the SOL 2, what other ways can we apply to get in other than being state sponsored or employer nominated? I understand that we can't be family sponsored for a SOL 2 occupation.
