I am unsure of the quota status for the rest of the states though.

as far as i know for the purposes of State Sponsorship the occupational ceiling for Software Engineer for SA has been reached. i am not sure if that is any indication of EOI / SS chances overall or State level. it would be good if you could consult a RMA. best wishes.

Just an update I have withdrawn from NT and submitted my EOI. Also have applied SS from SA. Waiting patiently.

there are 8 states to look out for when applying for state sponsor. act nsw qld wa sa vic NT Tas first things first is to look thru their websites and look at their demand list although some of the states' lists are not updated yet. it will give you a clear indication. have to warn you that no forum advice can replace the expertise of a registered migration agent.

i would think that since you have to do IELTS anyway, might as well do it first.

agent submitted EOI / SA SS about 13 hours ago. 10 minutes ago, i received an email from SA to post them hardcopies of my IELTS, Skills Assessment etc etc by 15th June 2012. I am not sure why. why 15th June?
