  1. One of my friend got 189 invitation this morning, he applied on 15th April, his occupation is Registered Nurse.

Immigration only responding medical related occupations.

    What about others?

They really don't deserve to get response?

Their depression & anxiety getting worse day by day, most of them are getting mentally sick cause immigration hasn't responded even in the said processing time.

Even decision is negative but they should let us know with in said processing time.

What the really COs are doing these days???

    Hi,

I've submitted my visa application for 186 DE on 11 February. The status is still received but I'm concerned about the information: action required - organise health examination (see snapshot). Should I do examinations now or is it better to wait for nomination approval?

I'm just thinking that maybe they didn't open my application because of missing docs - health examinations.

Thanks in advance for all answers and help!

    What's your occupation mate?

Further assessment means its probably out of the CO's hands until they receive some information back from whatever offshore office is confirming the documents they requested.

Your CO requests the docs from you, the CO sends them to the Overseas Post, London for example, that then sits in that queue and is allocated to the UK staff member to be allocated that job, they will then complete that task, for example if you needed to upload proof of experience for example, they would be allocated a task to confirm that experience with your employer and provide your CO with detailed report.

Then your CO will receive that job back and finialise your application (quite quickly as it clears their queue)

The issue is, it could be in the overseas Post queue a year maybe 18 months before its picked up, it really does depend on what the further assessment is, so even if you did manage to speak with your CO, the best they would say is that your application is still processing, they cannot and will not state anything else as it could mean if someone was lying, they would know to cancel the application before the decision was made.

Unfortunately all you can do is wait, I waited 18 months for my further assessment to be completed.

What about a CO asks a document from your employer and employer provides very next day.

And it still stuck in further assessment from ages?

Hi @restaurant.manager, I’m TRT waiting 7 months. I contacted immigration on Friday and they said there was nothing outstanding I just had to wait until someone picked up the file again and made a decision.

My application has been further assessment since December 2019.

Please update your occupation & timeline in your signatures too.

My nomination status is on further assessment since 26th February.

Did you happen to contact immigration since your nomination is well over 6 months ?

i asked my MA last week to contact immigration, she said, she hasn't got any hospitality nomination/visa grant since this COVID-19 issue.

And she recommend better to wait until the end of June or when these restrictions lift off will see what to do.

    Hello Friends,

I’ve few questions If someone knows please do answer those so we can clear our concerns...

1- As the previous processing time for 186 DE Was 6 months and if I didn’t received any update from Immigration dept so should I ask my MA to contact them as the time mentioned earlier is already passed according to website ??

2- I heard that If we call Immigration to know the current status of the application then they used to delay more than the usual processing time or put the file further down in queue???

I would really appreciate It someone can answer above questions.....

     Nomination & Visa Applied: 7 Dec 2019

     State: NSW

According to my MA the status is still Received...

No it's not like this. If you call immigration they don't put your application further down in queue.
