@elwoodthedog to add to this, I've also heard from more than one source that Immigration typically won't look into case delays, unless it's passed double the "expected wait".

So if the expected delay is 5-6 months, they won't bother looking into it until it's at least 10-12 months old - and even then, it's unlikely anything will happen from there. There are just so many circumstances - you can never be sure. It's all a waiting game 😐

Where did you hear that, they won't look until processing times reached to double?

I just heard from my agent that immigration has requested confirmation from my employer of roel availability for coming 2 years. The nomination was approved over 2 years ago so makes sense they need this.

Our agent advised this usually is indicative of a decision when confirmation is received. Has anyone had this request and how long before you received a decision?

It's mean your PR going to be grant soon, may be tomorrow.

    Hello Everyone,

my RSMS Nomination file open again and asked for invitation to comment. Details as follow if anyone can help in this.

they found the current company status shows Strike-off in progress but RCB approved and company still operating might they missed the company annual review fees to be paid.

my agent trying to get the owners to pay soon.

is this really serious matter or if they pay and account provide a letter to state that company actively operating, will they consider to approved nomination ?

    thanks in advance

It's mean all regional applicants will preference, but after budget we haven't heard much grants other then the PMSOL.

    HI All,

My employer has applied 2 nominations around same time, and my colleagues nomination has some issues with the contract and CO requested further information and company has submitted all the details and then my employer received a call from immigration about clarification regarding the contract(she is not the CO) - is that a bad sign? Also, will that impact my nomination too as it was through same employer? CO's are different but employer is the same. Also, looks like the person who called from immigration is not satisfied with the answers too, she mentioned she will prepare a report and submit it to higher authorities for decision making.

Was a bit scared and confused, please advise.

    TIA.

I'm very happy for you, but that is not what the government is hearing and it is not what the public is being told.  You have to remember that our Prime Minister is very sensitive to public opinion.

No, because so many restaurants and cafes are closed, those occupations aren’t classed as critical

Sorry to interrupt you, but please do not spread negativity here.

Our restaurant is operating well since covid, not even close for a single day. Our dine in sales declined by 10% maximum but our take away and delivery sales massive increased since Covid issue. My boss and her partners have 5 restaurants in this region and have same facts & figures no restaurant close the operations.

AND as far as i know, same situation is in whole Sydney region no restaurant has been fully closed. Even dine in sales declined but they're still operating. And almost all staff members same working as before with COVID-19 precautions.

    Hi there,

I got my 186 visa granted today. It's been a bit rough to get there. The point-based system for 189 went to crazy arm race soon after I got my 65 points. And then my first attempt on 186 nomination was rejected due to tech startup financial roller-coaster. Meanwhile,  the country I came from has been trying to screw up the world by all the ways it can.

I hope you all will get your positive response shortly! Wish you all safe and sound through this crazy time.

@restaurant.manager As a silent reader, I saw a lot of your depressed comments. I felt the same, most of the time. I just want to give you a virtual hug and pray for you.

Thank you bro and God bless you.

    I'm very happy for you.
